Roar and Restore!
Offers to support the restoration of the Vogue Theatre have come in many forms: from charitable donations to construction materials to volunteer labor.
Thanks to the generosity of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, a different kind of donation has been made that will let the winning bidders “roar” while contributing to the restoration of Manistee’s crown jewel: 14 suite tickets to the Detroit Tigers game on Sunday, May 20, 2012 when they’ll be playing the Pittsburg Pirates. Game time is 1:05 p.m.
The suites are plush, private rooms overlooking the Comerica Park field with food, beverage and all the comforts of home – and a luxurious one at that!
Suite tickets will be sold in two batches of 5 tickets and one-4 ticket set to as many as three bidders.
The winning bidders for the two sets of 5 tickets will receive two parking passes to the Detroit Tigers garage. Blarney Castle will also be chipping in with a $50 gas card for each winning bidder to help offset travel costs to Detroit.
A family celebration? A corporate team building event? A special graduation gift? For whatever the purpose, the tickets and passes will go the highest bidder. What is a reasonable bid? Based on prior experience, $200 for each ticket could be a great starting bid. 100% of the proceeds will go to the restoration of the Vogue Theatre.
All bids must be received by 12 noon on May 15, 2012 to Jami Klomp at the Alliance for Economic Success at:
- E-mail: jami@allianceforeconomicsuccess.com
