At the same time, our top priority is the safety of our patrons, staff, and volunteers. So while health and safety precautions are already part of our standard operating procedures, in response to COVID-19 (coronavirus) concerns we wanted to update you on the extra steps we are taking to ensure our community stays healthy. The Vogue continue to be open for business as usual, with some additional precautionary measures in place. As scheduled, we will remain closed for painting March 16 – 19. (Great timing on our part!) We are sad to announce that due to all the data and recommendations we’re receiving from state health officials, we are cancelling our Free Spring Break Week. Given that Spring Break draws hundreds and hundreds of people to enjoy the movies a packed theatre, we regretfully will have to cancel this year’s event in the interests of public safety. WHAT WE ARE DOING AND WHAT WE’RE ASKING OF YOU: KEEPING IT (EXTRA) CLEAN: In addition to our standard deep cleaning process, we have been increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting our theater during open hours, including the cafe space, concessions stand, theatres, and restrooms. Door handles and counters are being disinfected between each showtime during business hours and every night we are thoroughly disinfecting hand-contact surfaces. SCRUB, SCRUB, SCRUB: Our restrooms and lobby are well stocked with soap. Make use of it! We have retrained our employees and volunteers in the fine art of handwashing and hope you are doing the same. SPACING IT OUT: In order to comply with with the state recommendations for social distancing, we hope you will choose seating with space around you. (Six feet is the recommended distance). This time of year there is usually plenty of room! We may need to limit the number of tickets sold for our auditoriums. CHOOSE TO STAY HOME: We get it, we want to see that movie too, but if you’re feeling ill, please stay home. Our staff and volunteers are asked to do the same. CONTINUAL MONITORING: We are closely monitoring recommendations from local, state, and national officials. We will update you if anything changes on our end as the situation evolves.
